Carolyn Ruth (Nee Soulsby) Stefanov

Carolyn Ruth Stefanov (nee Soulsby), 79, passed away February 22, 2023.

Born in Akron, Carolyn had lived in Tallmadge for most of her life.  She graduated from Ellet High School and received her BS in education from the University of Akron. She retired from B.F. Goodrich and Roadway with over 30 years of service as an accountant. Carolyn was a member of The First Congregational Church of Tallmadge.  She loved all animals especially cats and watching sports.  Carolyn enjoyed working outside in her flower garden and watching and feeding the birds.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; brother, Donald J. Soulsby; and brother-in-law, Robert W. Ellis.

Carolyn is survived by her sister, Lynda E. Ellis; step son, Al (Bev) Stefanov; grandchildren, Aaron (Kelli), Lexi (Troy), and Lizzy; great grandchildren, Jay and Ty; nephews, Matthew T. Ellis and Tyler R. Ellis; and great nephew, Cameron R. Ellis

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 12 p.m., Friday, March 3, 2023 at the Donovan Bagnoli Funeral Home, 339 Southwest Ave., Tallmadge.

Funeral service to follow at 12 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Daniel Doty officiating.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
