Carolyn L. Wakelee

Carolyn L. Wakelee, 92, of Tallmadge passed away January 31, 2019.

Born in Youngstown, Ohio on March 10, 1926 she came to Akron in 1954.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean, and brother, Charles.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Kathy Fuchs of Brooklyn, Ohio; son, James of Solon; grandson, Michael Fuchs of Hudson and one great granddaughter.

She was a proud and loving wife and mother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Carolyn was a charter member of the Sweet Adeline's singing group and was retired from the Nobil Shoe Company.  She was also a member of Our Lady of Victory Church of Tallmadge.  Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her many friends at the Tallmadge Senior Center.

Following her request, there will be no calling hours and any donations may be made to Our Lady of Victory Church.
