Charlene "Charlie" S. (Fete) Lange

Charlene S. "Charlie" Lange, 89, passed away November 23, 2025 with her daughter, Brenda by her side. Born in Columbus, she lived part of her life in Florida, especially her paradise, the Florida Keys.

She retired from Eckerds Drugstore as a manager for many years and she moved to Peninsula to be near family She attended Andrew School for Girls and Mount Union College.

Charlene adored her cats and she enjoyed reading, puzzles and cooking.  She was an excellent cook and hostess. Charlene was full of life and she had a great sense of humor. Her kind, fun and generous spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Lange; parents, Russell and Anita Fete; sister, Margaret Fete; and sister-in-law, Jetta Fete.

Charlene is survived by her daughters, Denise (Shawn) O'Neill of Parrotsville, TN, Brenda (Rex) Roberts of Burton, Pamela (Paul) Doxsey of Twinsburg; Debbie Oreolt of Cuyahoga Falls, Sue (John) Hardesty of Akron, grandchildren, Austin (Karla) Roberts of San Diego, CA, Paul (Lauri) Doxsey of Twinsburg, Adam (Rob) Doxsey of Akron, Rick Cianciolla of Wadsworth,  Nick Butler of Toledo, Desiree Butler of Akron; great grandchildren, Rory Roberts, Leo Roberts, Aubrey Jones, Dominic (Maddie) Doxsey, Paisley Cianciola; brother, Robert Fete; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2025 at Tallmadge Cemetery with Rev. Jim Case officiating.
