Charles Thomas Pfeil Born 12/11/1935 Died 8/12/2014 Charles Pfeil died peacefully on August 12, 2014 at Akron City Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Chuck will be missed greatly by his loving wife of 54 years and best friend, Dororthy Pfeil and all of his family and friends. Chuck loved all and was loved by all. He was born and raised in Firestone Park and was a 1953 graduate of St. Vincent High School. He was a proud member of Christ The King Church for many years where he was very active in the Holy Name Society and assisted at the church whenever needed. He recently attended Our Lady of Victory. Chuck was a wonderful example to many, consistently living a Christian life. He demonstrated this daily by his actions. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, George and Teresa Pfeil; father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Pauline Speaks; brothers and sisters-in-law, Margaret Abood, Thomas and Lynn Speaks, Jim and Mary Speaks and Virginia Speaks. Chuck leaves wonderful memories of his life to his loving wife, Dorothy; brother, Robert (Jackie) Pfeil; brother, Paul Pfeil; in-laws, George Abood, Joseph Speaks, Bill (Barb) Speaks; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Mass of the Christian burial will be at Our Lady Of Victory Church, 73 North Ave., Tallmadge, Ohio 44278 on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Mike Matusz officiating. Family and friends may visit from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday August 17, 2014 at Hennessy Funeral Home located at 552 North Main Street, Akron, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Chuck to Our Lady Of Victory Church.
