Charles Edward Smith

Charles E Smith, Tallmadge, died May 14, 2025 after a short illness.

Born in Akron, Ohio Aug. 12 1938, and lived all of his life in the Akron area.

Charles is survived by step daughter, Cynthia McKee; granddaughter, Holly Miller (Cody); grandson, Stephen McKee; great grandson, Charles Mason Miller; great granddaughter, Vivian Mary Miller; brother, Robert, of Ca., Tammy McKenzie and others; also, special friend, Don Woerz, who he had been friends with since third grade.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Inez of 54 yrs; brother, Bill; nephew, Chad Smith.

Visitation will be 10:00 until 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle). Funeral services will follow visitation at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Scott Low officiating.

Burial will be at Western Reserve National Cemetery.
