Charlotte M. (Thomas) Gregory

Charlotte M. Gregory, 91, passed away May 19, 2016. Born in Barberton, she lived 30 years in Jacksonville, Florida with the last four years in Akron.

Charlotte served in the U.S. Coast Guard and enjoyed bowling, playing bridge and crafting.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Howard Merl and sister, Eileen Reich.

She is survived by her daughters,Gail McLaughlin of Florida, Dr. Anita (Dr. Brian) Satterlee of Virginia, Holly (John) Sickle of Copley; sons, Timothy (Lynn) Gregory of Warren, Thomas (Linda) Gregory of New Franklin, Howard M. Gregory II of Kent; grandchildren, Tim II, Philip, Adam, Kristen, Chip, Chase, Gina, Jesse, Stephen, Lauren, Darren; 13 great grandchildren; and brother, Bill (Ginny) Thomas.

Visitation will be 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle)

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m with Chaplain Chip Satterlee officiating.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
