Christine Marie (Franz) Naso

Christine Marie Naso, 72, passed away October 2, 2024. She was born in Dover, Ohio and later moved to Tallmadge, Ohio, where she lived for many years with her loving husband, Jan and raised a family.

A 1970 graduate of Saint Joseph's High School in Dover, Ohio, she went on to study at Kent State University, where she earned a BA in Psychology, a Master of Education, and an Educational Specialist – School Psychology degree. Christine retired as a School Psychologist having served North Canton City Schools and Field Local Schools. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Victory Parish, an avid reader, a loyal Cleveland sports fan, enjoyed gardening, watching the birds at her many feeders, and her annual sisters week at the beach. She loved her family deeply and will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity.

Christine is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jan; sons, Daniel Naso, Michael (Angela) Naso; daughter, Kimberly (Joshua) Skerl; grandchildren, Eleanor, Nora, Hannah, Oliver, and Isaac; sisters, Emily Myers, Julie (John) DeSisto, Vicki (Don) Rzasa, mother-in-law, Wilhelmina Naso; her brother and sisters-in-law and the outlaws; many nieces, nephews; very dear friends, Mandy, Nancy, Patty, Barb, Kathryn, Noreen, and Charmaine.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Virginia Franz; father-in-law, Thomas J.Naso; her very special aunt, Emma Antonelli.

Visitation will be 1:00 until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 6, 2024 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the historic Tallmadge Circle).

Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 7, 2024 at Our Lady of Victory, 73 North Ave., Tallmadge with Rev. Michael Matusz officiating.  The Funeral Mass will be livestreamed on Our Lady of Victory's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ourladyofvictorychurchtallmadge/.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
