Christine U (Schley) Tucker

Christine U. Tucker, 54 passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 14, 2016.  Christine was born in Cuyahoga Falls to her parents Gerhard and Irma Schley on September 9, 1961.

She lived most of her childhood in Tallmadge and graduated from Tallmadge High School in 1979.  After graduation she attended the University of Akron where she earned her associates degree as a legal secretary. Soon following, she started her career at Roetzel & Andress Law firm, where she was happily employed for 34 years. During her time with them she developed many valuable friendships and was cherished by her co-workers. Christine was a very good natured person who had a heart of gold, and she always found the good in everyone.  She always put everyone else's needs above her own.  Even during her illness, she kept a positive attitude and never let the cancer interfere with living her life to the fullest. Through her own trials in life, as a single mother, she instilled in her daughters to be strong independent women and to follow their dreams.

She was preceded in death by her parents Irma and Gerhard Schley.

She is survived by her beautiful daughters Kristyn and Sarah Tucker both of Ellet; her beloved cat Trixy; sister, Jennifer (David) Jindra of Maple Heights; brother, Jeffrey Schley of Tallmadge; aunt and uncle, Ursula and Guenter Michel and cousin, Mary-Anne Adkins.

Calling hours will be from 1:00 until 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave., Tallmadge with a memorial service immediately following with Minister Greg McClelland officiating.
