Christine L (Wassam) Gibson

Christine Gibson passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, August 17,2023. She lived a wonderful life and was an amazing woman, mother, sister, daughter, wife, and friend.

Chris was blessed with wonderful parents, Butch and Georgella Naragon who have been big supporters throughout her battle with cancer. She has a loving husband of almost 31 years, Timothy Gibson. Chris put her soul into being an amazing mother where she was blessed with three children and two son-in-laws, Megan (Ethan) Stusek, Lillie (Joseph) Barker, and her son, Logan Gibson. Chris has two siblings Bridget (Todd) Clark, and Jerry (Tammy) Wassam as well as many nieces and nephews.

Chris would like to thank Bonnie and Billy Burdick for being wonderful friends. She would like to give a shout out to her "special Lisas", Lisa Jones, Lisa Bowman, Lisa Hanesworth, Lisa Robinson, and Lisa Kincaid. Chris would also like to acknowledge her hardworking Acme floral staff, Cierra Gunther, Cheryl Plymier, and Marsha Moore. She was blessed to have many other friends such as Regina (Dave) Streharsky, and Jodi Boston as well as others that have made an impact in her life. Lastly, Chris would like to send a special thank you to Tom and Diana Morneweck and family "they've been very helpful". She was provided with wonderful end of life care from Traditions Health Hospice. Chris would like for people to remember her for the wonderful life she lived and for the fun times that they had with her.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m., Friday, August 25, 2023 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Memorial service will follow calling hours at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor David Archer officiating.
