Clara (Butz) Marek

Clara Marek passed away on November 24, 2021.

Clara was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. From being an active 4-H mom with her daughter's horses to helping her son as a merit badge counselor and committee chairman for Kenmore Boy scout troop 210, she was always supportive of her children's passions. She had a fierce love for her grandchildren that was ever present and an incredibly strong sense of family.

Clara has been preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Andrew Marek.

She is survived by her son, Edward Marek (Teresa); daughter, Kathleen Shook (Don); her grandchildren, David, Christina (Cory), Matthew, Jessica (Cody), and Johnathan; along with her great-granddaughter Angel, and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Doylestown United Methodist Church, 153 Church Street.

Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
