Cleta J Amedeo

Cleta J. Amedeo, 88, passed away August 10, 2026. Born in Cleveland, she had lived in the Akron/Tallmadge area most of her life.

Cleta worked at David’s Bridal in sales for over 10 years, and was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church. She enjoyed going to Casinos, playing bingo, hearts, and was a Brownie leader.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; parents, Frederick and Mary Wittek; son-in-law, Timothy Gregg;

Cleta is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Amedeo, Mary (John) Haggerty, Sera Gregg; son, Joe (Katrina) Amedeo; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Joy Perella; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
