Clyde Robert Simmons, 79, passed away December 27, 2021. Born in Compton, CA., he lived most of his life in Akron.
Clyde served in the U.S. Navy and retired as a machinist at Chrysler Corp.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Helen Simmons; and his siblings.
Clyde is survived by his sister, Glenna (Don) Simmons; daughter, Kimberly Haas; son, Robert Simmons; good friend, Michael Smith; and many friends.
Interment will be at 12:45 p.m., Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman.
