CODY JAMES CZERPAK

January 17, 1996 – August 19, 2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Cody James Czerpak. Cody was born on January 17, 1996 in Akron, Ohio to Tonya Criss and James Czerpak.

Cody is survived by his namesake Cody Jr., daughter Isabella and the mother of his children and fiancée, Briana Long. He also leaves his mother Tonya Criss, his father James (Desiree) Czerpak, his maternal grandmother Pamela (Dan) Schaffer, his paternal grandmother Deborah Czerpak all of Akron, Ohio; his paternal grandfather Anthony Czerpak of Mogadore, Ohio; four sisters, Juztice Simmons and Alexis Czerpak, both of Akron, Ohio and Sierrea Williams of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Tiarra Czerpak of Akron,Ohio; three brothers, Koryon Criss, Christian Gibson, both of Akron, Ohio and Norman Copley of Mogadore, Ohio, Uncle Michael Czerpak and Aunt Michelle Czerpak both of Akron,Ohio and Aunt Toni Cremeans (Dale) of Culloden, West Virginia and a host of special cousins and friends to cherish his memories.

Cody is preceded in death by Gerald Criss (Smoot) (Grandfather) Tony Criss (uncle), Nicole Czerpak (aunt), Shawn Cremeans (cousin) and Rebecca Albecker (cousin).

Cody was the proud owner of his own landscaping company. He was an avid motorcycle rider and true family man, spending a majority of his free time with his children. Cody always boasted that he was lucky to have the friends and family that he was blessed with. We will forever cherish his memories and find solace in the fact that he is now watching over us all, family, friends and enemies alike.

Cody will be missed immeasurably, but never forgotten!

A viewing will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 3-7pm. Final services will be Monday, August 27, 2018 from 1-3pm. Both services will be held at Hennessey Funeral Home at 552 North Main Street, Akron, Ohio 44310. Pastor Zach Reeves will be officiating.

Funeral Interment will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery, 2580 Romig Road, Akron, Ohio 44320.

A celebration of life will be held at Tallmadge Alliance Church at 1155 East Ave., Tallmadge, Ohio 44278 following the interment.
