CONCETTA DEVINE (LEACOMA) 92, who will be missed by her entire family.
Last and oldest of her siblings to go, she leaves behind her four children, Cathy (Tom), Phil (Sheila), Paul (Lori) and Michael; her grandkids, Ashley (Chris), Michael, Kelly (Taylor), Taylor and Nicole, who she really loved and enjoyed; her great grandkids, Mason, Giana, Dimitri and Miles, whom she was also able to know and enjoy them as well. She also leaves many other close family members, sister in laws, nieces, nephews- so too many to name.
Connie (Cetta) grew up on North Hill to an Italian mother and Sicilian father. In her early years she worked at Goodrich until she married and also made her home on North Hill. Upon her husband's untimely death, she showed the strong woman she truly was. She found the strength and resilience to keep her home and raise her then, teenagers. Connie took employment with North Hill Methodist Church until retiring from there. Afterwards she worked at Good Neighbors volunteering her time. Connie eventually moved to Tallmadge but still remained close to her North Hill friends and did many things with her family. Two of her favorite things were shopping and going to lunch and she was able to do these things into her 90's. She was always full of advice and opinion but at the same time without judgement. This is why it is with great sadness we announce her passing on Sept 20th, 2024. A special thanks to Vicki for her friendship & caregiving to our mom.
