Constance Eve Alexander (nee Contessa) of Tallmadge and Apple Valley Ohio passed Tuesday 7/23/2024. She was the first child of Lou and Joyce Contessa born on April, 7 1957 in Akron Ohio. Constance attended St Martha's and North High School graduating in 1975 and then attended University of Akron receiving her degree in computer science. She married Thomas Alexander on October 20, 1979 and they had their daughter Marissa Nicole Alexander born on Dec 9, 1987.

Constance was the proprietor of Emily Mae's general store in the 1990's and retired from the city of Tallmadge in 2020. She was preceded in death by her father Louis Contessa along with her mother and father-in-law Cosmo and Donna Alexander, sisters-in-laws Carol and Theresa, and brother-in-law John Mitchell. She leaves behind her husband Thomas A. Alexander, her daughter Marissa Alexander (Kevin Wilson), her mother Joyce Contessa, sisters Cathy Mitchell, Cyndi Montoney (Dan Montoney), and Chrissi D'Avello, Uncle Tony and Aunt Theresa Contessa, Uncle Allen Barbour, and Aunt Dura Barbour along with many friends, cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am Saturday at St. Anthony Church, 83 Mosser Place Akron.  Burial will be at Chestnut Hill Cemetery at a later date.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 pm Friday at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main)  552 N. Main St. Akron.
