Dale E Bennett

Dale E. Bennett, 67, passed away December 11, 2015.  He was a resident of Akron all of his life.

Dale served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and retired from the City of Akron Sanitation Department with over 15 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Iva Bennett; sister, Roseanne Frazier; and brother, Denzil Bennett.

Dale is survived by his wife Jo Ellen; son, Eric (Shannon) Bennett of Tallmadge; step daughter, Angie Shaw; sisters, Marie Earlenbaugh of Cuyahoga Falls, Kathleen Lozier of Springfield Twp., Donna Johnson of Springfield Twp.; brother, Denny (Naomi) Bennett of Springfield Twp.; sister in law, Lenora Bennett; seven grandchildren; special nephew, Edward Bennett and many other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the Donovan Bagnoli Funeral Home, 339 Southwest Ave. in Tallmadge.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Glenn Rogers Jr. officiating.

Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
