Daniel Krukemeyer
January 23, 1935 — December 30, 2021
Daniel Krukemeyer, 86, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, December 30, 2021.
Born in Bay Village, Ohio Daniel had lived in the Akron area since 1961. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and retired in 1996 from Allstate. Daniel was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish and the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Veronica Krukemeyer and brother, Thomas Krukemeyer; son-in-law, Craig Vernotzy.
Daniel leaves his beloved wife Greta of 63 years; children, Mary (Ric) Bass of Kent, Daniel (Kris) Krukemeyer of Akron, Sherri (Tony) Dickens of Florida, John (Sandy) Krukemeyer of Hartville, Bill (Julie) Krukemeyer of Tallmadge, and Anna Vernotzy of Tallmadge; 17 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Bill Krukemeyer of Cleveland; and sister-in-law, Diane Krukemeyer
A Private showing for immediate family will take place Monday.
A Celebration of Dan's life for extended family and friends to be announced later.
