Daniel William Ripley

"Dan the Man" Daniel William Ripley 35, passed away June 26, 2021.

Dan was born September 8, 1985 to Dale and Debbie Ripley in Akron and lived with his parents and brother in Tallmadge.  He graduated from Tallmadge High School in 2004, where he was on the honor roll.  Dan was an inspiration to all and loved everyone he knew and met.  He enjoyed all sports his favorite was basketball and could remember all the details about sport statistics.  Dan loved movies and could remember what date they were made.  He had an incredible memory.  Dan was in Challenger baseball and bowling.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dave and Mary Jane Woodall and Isabelle Ripley; and uncle David Michael Woodall.

Dan is survived by his parents, Dale and Debbie Ripley; brother, Dustin; grandfather, Lou Ripley of Greensville, SC; aunt, Brenda (Patrick) Donofrio of New Castle, PA; uncle, David (Stephanie) Ripley; cousin, Dylan Ripley all of Greensville, SC.

Thank You to all the many nurses and caretakers for their help and kindness for many years.

Visitation will be 12 noon until 2 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2021 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral Service to follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

There will be a party at Dan's request at Lions Park Hall, 245 Northeast Ave., Tallmadge following the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family or Make A Wish Foundation, or Livnu Church.

Family is requesting casual dress.
