Danny A Dills

Danny A. Dills, 63, passed away April 10, 2018. He was born in Akron and lived there his entire life.

Danny worked with the City of Akron in the Parks Department for 30 years. He loved his family and his dog.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Anita Eckenberg; father and step mom, Charles and Jacqueline Dills; stepmom, Carol McConnell; half-brothers, Mike Folk, Carl Dills; brothers in law, Greg Leysock and Steve Tracy.

Danny is survived by his half-brothers, Christopher Dills, Charles Mitchell Dills, Audie (Melissa) Dills; step-brother, Max (Sharon) Wilcox; half-sisters, Lesia Bedell, April (Richard) Pownall; step-sisters, Linda (Randy) Hull, Diana Leysock, Ruth Tracy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday following visitation at the funeral home with Rev. Jim Case officiating.

Interment will be at Homeland Cemetery.
