Danny P. Siladie passed away on April 29, 2025. He was born on October 10, 1939 in Akron and lived most of his life in Tallmadge with his wife Linda.  They would have celebrated 53 years August 4, 2025.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dan and June Siladie and brother, Dave Siladie.

He is survived by his wife, Linda (George); sister, Shirah Siladie Adams of Columbus; and nieces, Dawn (Siladie) Brunkalla; Elana Honig and nephew, David Siladie, many great nieces and great nephews.

Danny is a Garfield graduate. He graduated from Akron University in 1970. Danny was the owner of DPS Insurance Agency before retiring 24 years ago.  He served in the U.S. Army.  He was a member of Faith Bible Fellowship Church in Tallmadge.  He also belonged to the Mogadore Moose Club.

Danny and Linda enjoyed dancing.  He also enjoyed fishing in Canada with Linda and his late parents, brother, and sister-in-law Cheryl Siladie.  Danny also enjoyed socializing with his best friend Ray (Cheryl) Deitch.  Danny enjoyed the friendship and love from Michelle Knight and her family (Jen and Chris Fike); (Chris and Marie Knight); (Heather and Jeff Lane) and dear sweet Maddie Lane (10 years).  Danny liked playing double solitaire with special friend Donna McCarty. Danny's favorite hobby was eating breakfast or late lunch out.  He really enjoyed sitting on his patio feeding and watching the birds.

Private calling hours and services were held at the convenience of the family.
