David Thomas Lorkowski

David Thomas Lorkowski, 71, passed away August 5, 2024. Born in Akron, he lived in the Stow area.

David retired from Swagelok after 32 years as a Computer Programmer.  He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. David graduated from Tallmadge High School and Kent State University.  He enjoyed going to the natatorium, playing volleyball, cooking and traveling.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Bessie Lorkowski; brother, Joseph.

David is survived by his sister, Sue (Russ) Carter; brothers, Jonathan, Tom (Candy), and Tim; several nieces and nephews and friends.

Visitation will be 4:00 until 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 9, 2024 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 1905 Portage Trail with Rev. James Singler officiating. Procession to form at the church.

Interment will be at Stow Cemetery.
