David Roy Schwaben, Jr

David Schwaben Jr went to be with the Lord April 14, 2026 at the age of 55. He was surrounded by his family and friends. Prayed for by many in the faith community. David accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord & Savior 5 days before he was called home.

David loved his Ohio sports teams, classic cars and his dogs Leo & Snugs. Born in Akron to Dave & Sandy Schwaben on July 8, 1970. David went to North High School and then worked in the tool rental business for many years but loved working for Anderson International.

He will be missed by his sister, Christie Schwaben Kazmir (Dan) of Brimfield; his fiancé, Tracy Greer; her four children Melissa, Kyle, Kailey and Preston; his nephews, Jerry Drabeck and Daniel Kazmir.

RIP David until we see you again.

Services will be Saturday May 9, 2026 at 1:30 pm at First Church, 464 Northeast Ave, Tallmadge OH 44278. As an homage to David’s love of sports, we are inviting friends & family to wear his favorite sports teams to the service Indians (Guardians), Browns, Ohio State.

A very special thanks to Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, Ohio for the time, love and care you provided that can never be repaid.
