David M. Wack

David M. Wack, age 46, passed away on December 28, 2014 in London, England. David was born in Akron and grew up in Tallmadge, graduating from Tallmadge High School in 1987.  He received a B.A., summa cum laude, from Miami University of Ohio, majoring in Russian and International Studies.  He earned his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center.

At the time of his passing, David was a Corporate Partner in the law firm of Squire Patton & Boggs and a member of its Global Board. He was considered a leading lawyer in the area of cross-border mergers and acquisitions and private equity placements in Russia and Eastern Europe.    His offices were in London and Moscow.

David was an avid reader, accomplished artist, gourmet cook, and motorcycle enthusiast.  He loved music in all it's genres. He loved the beach. He travelled the globe he so loved to study as a child.  He was witty and compassionate. And, most importantly he was a wonderful and engaged "Papa" to his children.

He leaves behind his wife Bettina and their three beloved children, Kathryn, Annalisa and Alexander, all of London. Also mourning his passing are his parents, Patrick and Nancy Wack of Tallmadge, brothers, Patrick, Jr. (Laura) of Greenwich, Connecticut and Michael of Akron.

Funeral services were conducted in London.  His interment is at the Tallmadge Cemetery.
