Deborah Ruth DeVitis Sines Acker, 61, of Hobe Sound, Florida. Born October 11, 1952 passed away December 27, 2013 after a brief illness.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Phillips DeVitis; father, Vincent Richard DeVitis; and first husband, Floyd Lee Sines. She leaves her husband of 11 years, Richard Acker of Hobe Sound; mother, Jean DeVitis of Knoxville, Tennessee; children, Joshua Sines of Akron, Jessica (Lyn) Lee of Winder, Georgia; and grandson, Dallas Lee of Winder; siblings, Richard (Deborah) DeVitis of Lewisville, Ohio, Don DeVitis of Akron, Darla DeVitis of Cumming, Georgia and Dyna (Phil) Sparks of Norcross, Georgia; uncle, Angelo and aunt Janet DeVitis of Akron; cousins, Linda Persell, Robert, David, Danny, Laura and Anthony DeVitis; aunt Evelyn Rodenberger, and her children, Kurt and Karen; aunt, Joan Tanner and her children, uncle Butch; and numerous aunts and cousins throughout the country; nephews, Michael DeVitis, Matthew Zurzolo, Jarred Sparks, Carlos DeVitis, Jack LaPenta, Seth and Aaron Law, and Joey Gentile; nieces, Deanna Sparks, Kelly Weible, Roxanne LePenta and Jaime Gentile.

Debbie along with her beautiful smile and infectious laugh will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorial Calling Hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. and her Eulogy following at 7 p.m. at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main) 552 North Main Street, Akron, Ohio on Thursday, January 9, 2014 with private burial at Crown Hill Cemetery Twinsburg,Ohio.
