Debra Ann (Poole) Swingle

Debra Ann Swingle, 70, passed away on Tuesday January 7, 2025, after a seven month battle with cancer.

She died six days shy of her 71st birthday, she was born on January 13, 1954 in Amarillo, Texas.  Debra graduated from Tallmadge High School and attended Ricks College in Idaho.  She was an active member of her church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  She loved being with family especially her two sons and their wives.  Debra also had two grand puppies and a grand kitty that brought her joy.  She also loved to crochet.  Debra made lots of things, afghans, baby blankets, hats, and scarves.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard M. Poole, and grandson, Christopher J. Swingle.

Debra leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of almost 40 years, Chris Swingle; sons, Ryan (Carla) Swingle, Josh (Victoria) Swingle; mother, Phyllis Poole; siblings, Scott (Paula) Poole, Donna Harrison, Kathy (Mark) Helmuth, Nancy (Jim) Alexander, Doug Poole, and Terri (Scott) Carpenter; granddaughters, Lani and Gia; grandson, Pietro, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 4 until 7 p.m. Friday, January 10, 2025 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle) and also Saturday, January 11, 2025 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Funeral Service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2025 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 106 E. Howe Rd., Tallmadge with Bishop Dave Snyder officiating.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
