Delphine E (Crawford) Wise

Delphine E. Wise, 96, passed away January 27, 2016.  Born in Akron, she lived in Tallmadge most of her life.

Delphine graduated from Central High School and retired after 41 years from the Parcel Post Dept. at Goodyear Tire & Rubber, and was a licensed beautician able to practice in the State of Ohio. Delphine and her husband Joe enjoyed traveling, especially to Disney World and were patrons of the Masters Golf Tournaments. She enjoyed gardening and raising flowers, which were appreciated by the neighbors and all who saw them. She was a truly good woman who saw the good in the lives of all who she met along life's pathway.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Rose Crawford.

Delphine is survived by her husband, Joseph; step daughters, Shirley (Phil) Thatch of Georgia, Judith (George) Reuscher of North Carolina; step grandchildren, Ray, Mike, Debbie, Curt, Craig and Kevin; seven step great grandchildren; sister, Genevieve (Harold) Starcher of Akron; brother, Frank Crawford of Tallmadge; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Monday, February 1, 2016 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
