Dennis Dixon Hayes

Dennis Dixon Hayes, 77, passed away on his birthday, September 9, 2026. Born in Cleveland, he lived most of his life in the Cleveland/Akron area.

Dennis had worked as a sales rep for various steel manufacturers before starting his own business, Hayes and Associates, Inc. He enjoyed golfing and was an avid reader. Dennis loved his Irish Heritage. He didn’t know what he was getting when he married into a big Italian family. He never understood why there was so much food, but he loved his mothers-in-law meatballs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Mary Hayes; sister, Maureen; father-in-law, Ralph Gironda.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Carmela; stepchildren, Lisa (Michael) Bisesi, Michael Buzzelli; mother-in-law, Mary Gironda; sister-in-law, Juliana Gironda; brother-in-law, Roberto (Terri) Gironda; grandchildren, Julian, Giana, Mario, Daniella; nieces and nephew, Edwin Rosa and Briana Gironda; great nieces, Sophia and Ellia; and many friends.

Dennis’ favorite charity was Hattie Larlham, so please send memorial donations to the Hattie Larlham Community Services, 1402 Boettler Road, Suite B, Uniontown, OH 44685.

Visitation will be 12:00 until 2:00, Sunday, September 13, 2026 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).
