Dolores Marie (Giacomo) Andrew

It is with Relief and saddened hearts that the family of Dolores Marie Andrew announce her passing on November 8th, 2025. Thank You to the staff of Greenview Senior Assisted Living Facility, specifically Special Care, for their compassionate care of our mother while she lived with Alzheimer's. Dolores was a member of Visitation of Mary Parish, Annunciation Church. Dolores was employed by Annunciation Parish School and then The Akron Public School System. Proceeded in death by her husband of 69 years and childhood sweetheart John; son, Thomas; parents, Paul and Angela Giacomo; sister, Cecilia Sherwood; and nephew, Paul Sherwood.

Dolores is survived  by sons, John (Debra) of Green, Ron of Green; daughter,  Lynn of Akron; daughter in law, Cindy of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Nikole (Steve) Varga, Erin (Rocky) Palmer, Matthew (Robyn) Andrew, Chad (Liz) Andrew, David (Laura) Andrew, and Michelle (Joe) Dies; 14 great grandchildren;  and 1 great-great grandchild; brother, Peter (Sandra) Giacomo of Wadsworth; brother in law, Robert Sherwood of Henderson NV; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's  Association or your favorite charity. Private services were held at the convenience of the family.
