Dolores M (Stuart) Burkhart

Dolores "Dorie" M. Burkhart, 93, passed away on November 30, 2025. Born in Spangler, PA she lived most of her life in the Akron and Tallmadge areas.

Dorie was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.  She loved to cook and bake and was known for her cookies.  Family was her passion and loved taking care of her kids and grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick; parents, Peter and Myrtle Stuart; sisters, Evelyn Fresh and Jean Miller; and brother, Joseph Stuart.

Dorie is survived by her children, Linda (Jerry) Rhodes, Sharon (Gary) Bednarik; sons, Frederick (Carrie) Burkhart and Ronald (Lisa) Burkhart; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Ann (Len) Poliziani and Janet (Tony) Yannella; brother, Jim (Karen) Stuart; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 73 North Avenue, Tallmadge.

Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Fr. Mike Williamson officiating.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery
