Donna Alexander, 90, Born May 1, 1927 passed away peacefully April 30, 2018 one day shy of her 91st birthday. Donna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Cosmo; daughters, Teresa and Carol; parents, Fred and Laura Swartz; and sister and brother.

She graduated from South High School and attended Hiram College. Donna retired from Ohio Bell in 1985. After retirement, mom and dad traveled extensively. She was a member of the K of C Columbian Guild, St. Monica Society and attended St. Anthony church.

Donna is survived by her son, Tom (Connie); grandchildren, Amanda, Kevin, Marissa (Jeff) and Nat; and 7 great-grandchildren.

We would like to thank the staff at Mulberry Gardens, Western Reserve Hospital and Harbor Light Hospice for the comfort they gave Donna.  Donna loved her time at Mulberry Gardens.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am, Friday, at St. Anthony Church, 83 Mosser Pl., Akron. Burial will follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 pm, Thursday, at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main), 552 N. Main St., Akron.
