Donna Jean (Mills) Rogers

Donna Jean (Mills) Rogers ascended peacefully to be with the Lord on July 24, 2018 with her husband and children by her side. She was born and raised in Youngstown where she graduated from South High School in 1956 and was a resident of Tallmadge since 1975. She and her husband established and own Home Appliance Parts on Main Street in Akron. Donna was preceded in death by her parents Alice (Dressel) and Robert Mills, sisters Sally (Spike) Crawford and Betty (Joe) Baraducci, sister-in-law Gretchen (Robert) and brother-in-law Ron (Dottie).

Donna is survived by and lives in the hearts of her loving husband John Rogers of 58 years, devoted children John and Linda (Rick) Gray and beloved grandchildren Sam and Carter Gray who were the absolute joy of her life. She is also survived by her brother Robert (Connie) Mills and many cousins, nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was also blessed to have numerous life-long friends that she truly cherished. Donna was respected and loved by all she encountered and was known by all to be kind, generous and full of fun.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 4th at Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (off the Tallmadge Circle). A brief memorial service will be held the last 30 minutes of the visitation period. A private interment will be at the Tallmadge Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of cut flowers, perennials are preferred and will be utilized to create memorial gardens in Donna's honor or donations may be sent to Donovan Funeral Home to be distributed among her chosen charities
