Dorothy Basarab

Dorothy Basarab, 72, passed away July 14, 2016.  Born in Akron, where she lived the majority of her life.

Dorothy was truly a special lady. When she smiled the clouds would depart.  She always had many friends that she cared for, her Angels along the way.  She fought the good fight and the Lord said to her, "Well done good and faithful servant."  God was always first, but she lived for the love and closeness of her family.

Her husband Ron would light up her life every day of their 37 years together. She was loved dearly by her two sons: Tom and Dave Fleming, their wives: Lia and Debra, her precious grandchildren (sugarplums): Andrew, Julia, Brandon, Daniel and Nicole, and their special dogs: Sully, Sierra and Copper.  She also leaves behind heartbroken but special siblings: Joyce and Paul, Jonny and Cathy, and Carol and Don, along with many nieces and nephews. She will be missed forever. Showers of Blessings.

Visitation will be 10:00 until 12:00 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2016 at Donovan Bagnoli Funeral Home, 339 Southwest Ave., Tallmadge.

Funeral Service will be at 12:00 p.m. following visitation at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Tom Madden officiating.

Interment will be at Hillside Memorial Gardens.
