Dorothy Ellen Gregg

Dorothy Gregg, 74, passed away March 16, 2017. Born in Moundsville, WV, she had lived in Akron most of her life.

Dorothy was the receptionist for Crain Communications' Akron office until her retirement. Prior to that she worked at West Point Market, and she was a head teller at Akron Savings and TransOhio for 20 years. She was an avid reader, rock collector and gardener. She was very involved locally with Hillary Clinton's Campaign.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Evert.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Sheri E. Gregg of Akron, Shelley J. Gregg of Cuyahoga Falls; son, Timothy E. (Sera) Gregg of Tallmadge; grandchildren, Anthony (Candice) Bell, Vince (Anne) Bell, Nick Gregg, McKenna and Cameron Kelly; great grandchildren, Joshua, Cayden, Elli; sister, Lois Jean Goosman of San Diego; sister-in-law, Frankie Bird; and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave., Tallmadge (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 24, 2017 at the funeral home with Rev. Scott Baker officiating.

Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
