Dorothy J (Haverlick) Marzano

June 8, 1934 — February 3, 2021

Dorothy J. Marzano, 86, passed away peacefully February 3, 2021. Born and lived in Akron all of her life.

Dorothy retired as a tax preparer with H&R Block.  She was a member of St. Anthony Church and a Democratic Precinct Chairwoman. She enjoyed traveling.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Haverlick; sister, Mary Ann Runion.

Dorothy is survived by her husband of 65 years, John; daughter, Karen Runion; sons, John (Cindy) Marzano, Dave (Sandy) Marzano; grandchildren, Amanda, Mike, Vince, Stephen; sister in law, Gerry Gill.

Visitation will be 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Monday, February 8, 2021 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave.  (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at St. Anthony of Padua Parish, 83 Mosser Pl, Akron with Fr. Edward Burba officiating.  PROCESSION TO FORM AT THE CHURCH. Due to construction, visitors please park in parking lot.

Interment will be at Northlawn Memorial Gardens,
