Earl William Stout, 82, went home to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, 12/1/16. He lived his whole life on North Hill in Akron, Ohio.

He was a member and past deacon of Goodyear Heights Presbyterian Church and a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #33 for nearly 60 years. After retirement, he stayed busy and enjoyed spending time with his family, his train collection, baking, working on puzzles and CHOCOLATE!

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ellen (Foster); his children, Jeff (Viki), Denise Smith, John (Terrie), Jim (Lisa), and Stephanie (Curtis) Holman; grandchildren, Amanda (Jeramy) Patton, Melissa (David) Lynix, Logan, Grace & Grant Stout; and one great-granddaughter, Tessa Patton.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at 12 noon at the Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main) 552 N. Main street, Akron, OH 44310, where the family will receive friends from 10 AM -12 PM. Interment will immediately follow the service at Northlawn Memorial Gardens, 4441 State Road, Penninsula, OH 44264.
