Edna M. Arcuri (Sadie), 90, passed away November 8, 2015.  She was born in Illinois and raised in Akron where she lived all of her life.

Edna retired from Stauffer's Hardware Store in Sharon Center, OH.  She was very active at St. Joseph Melkite Church.  Edna was a very caring and giving person to her family and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; brothers; Salem (Vickie) and Clarence (Shirley) Sadie; and nephew, Timothy Sadie, Edna is survived by her nieces and nephews,  Pat (Paul) Sadie-Ambrose, Michael, Dan and James Sadie, Rick and Dr. Gary Volfre; and sister-in-law, Rosemary (Ron) Schwin.

Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 pm, Thursday, at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main), 552 N. Main St., Akron. Funeral Service will be at 10 am, Friday, at St. Joseph Melkite Church, 600 W. Exchange St. Akron, OH 44302.  Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church.
