Edward Otto Willis

Edward Otto Willis, 97, passed away January 27, 2024.  He was born November 21, 1926 in Alto, Tennessee and lived most of his life in Copley, Ohio.

Edward served in the U.S. Army during World War II and retired from Goodyear Aerospace after 41 years as a Lead Aeronautical Engineer. He enjoyed golfing, yardwork and going to his cottage that he built on Seneca Lake.  Most of all he loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annabelle; parents, William and Anna Lou Willis; brother, Eugene Willis; sisters, Evelyn Mozingo and Lucille Nikles.

Edward is survived by his children, Michael (Lynn) Willis, Roberta (Rob) Smith; grandchildren, Jason (Angie) Smith, Shannon (Nole) Lamb, Lisa (Nathan) Nosal, Michael Willis; seven great grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Private service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
