Edwin John Sadon, Jr. passed away June 30, 2023 after a battle with leukemia.  Ed was born November 1,1943 in Akron and was a lifelong resident of Cuyahoga Falls.  He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Lunora (Pogorzelski); children Stanley (Ashley) Sadon, Elizabeth (Richard) Morton, Rebekah (Bryon) Crump, Jacob (Jill) Sadon; grandchildren Andrew, Katie and Noah and many other relatives and great friends.  Ed was a dedicated member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a graduate of St. Joseph Elementary School and Archbishop Hoban High School.  He served in the U.S. Air Force and then as a truck mechanic for Austin GMC/Peterbilt and Summit County Engineer's, where he retired.  Ed was preceded in death by his parents; Edwin, Sr. and Marie (Beierwaltes); sisters Marie (Grimley), Patricia (Smith), and Judith (Harrell).

Mass of Christian burial will take place Tuesday, July 25 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, located at 1761 2nd St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.  Burial to follow at 12:45 p.m. at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
