Elaine Lamar Goodwill

Elaine LaMar Goodwill, 78, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2021 after an extended illness.

Elaine was born in Akron, Ohio to George and Betty Curtis on December 12, 1942. She graduated from Central High School in 1960 and went on to work at Alltel. She enjoyed retirement after 30 years of service and explored various casinos with her husband, loved creating special moments with her family, and enjoyed all kinds of shopping trips. She had a quick witted sense of humor laced in sarcasm and laughed often. She was a wonderful wife, terrific mother, doting grandmother, and even a "great"-grandmother.

Elaine is survived by her husband, Jerry; brother, Gary Curtis (Pat), daughter Shelley Kennedy (Paul), son Don Stuecher, daughter Kristin Wetzel (Paul), son Greg Goodwill (Lisa), nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Very special thank you to Elaine's personal nurse, Carrie Sweitzer. We truly appreciate your personal care of Elaine, and how you were available 24/7 to help with anything and everything. We also want to thank Erica from Absolute Hospice.
