Eleonore Franceska Kuhne

Eleonore Franceska Kuhne, 96, passed away April 14, 2018, after a long illness and a busy and productive life.

Emigrating from Germany in 1955, she brought her children, Ron and Judy to the land she loved. As an Insurance agent and later a Realtor, Eleonore worked tirelessly for her clients.  She became President of the Insurance Women of Akron and Safety Citizen of the Year and was active as a volunteer at Akron General Hospital and Edwin Shaw for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugo; son, Ron; daughter in law, Bridget.

Eleonore is survived by her loving daughter, Judy and son in law Tim Donovan; grandchildren, Margo  (Rich), Heather (Eric), Meghan (Robyn), Helen (Bart), Sean (Nicole), Kate; her great grandchildren, Ashley  (Andrew), Ellie, Michael and Clara; and many good friends.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Nativity of the Lord Jesus Catholic Church, 2425 Myersville Rd, Akron with visitation at 9:00 a.m.  Celebrant Fr. David Halaiko with concelebrant Fr. Zachary Kawalek.

Interment at the family's convenience.
