Elizabeth (Betty) Hulda Kubicki, (nee Feierabend), passed away unexpectedly and peacefully at the age of 89, on July 7, 2024, of natural causes in Florida. She was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and lived over the past decade in Marshallville, Ohio.
Elizabeth was an amazing and beautiful Wife, Mother, Mother-in-Law, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She was a selfless, kind and loving person, a rare individual. She would give so much of herself to her children, family, friends and acquaintances and had a beautiful aura about her of just a pure soul. She was someone you could turn to if you were having a bad day, difficulties or sickness, even though she may not be feeling well herself. Her generosity of giving the love of her heart to us all is something that we will always remember. She always made time, day or night, if we called just to get that quick chat in to console any one of us. We were never too old to just lay in her arms to be comforted or to comfort her. Just to sit with her and watch her favorite shows or reminisce about the past listening to her laugh. We always made sure to have dinner at the table every night as a family to talk, tease and laugh about silly things. She worked in a print shop and loved to crochet, paint pictures, do puzzle books, play solitaire castle on her iPhone, keeping her house nice and collecting beautiful dolls that she loved looking at all the time. She also loved her mini dachshund "Miss Piggy. We all enjoyed preparing, with her, the German family recipes passed down from her mom including her infamous Dumplings and sauerkraut with pork shoulder, making this a family tradition. She enjoyed sitting outside and taking in nature and watching the boats sail by or the fish jump out of the water in the latter part of her days in Florida. We always tried to get her favorite flowers of red and white carnations and she loved gardenias also. We were all glad to have been able to visit and spend quality time with her talking and laughing before she passed on to heavens gates. We will miss her company, her consoling words and her touch. We all loved her so much and will not say goodbye, as she will be remembered and carried in our hearts every day as we celebrate the wonderful life, she gave to all of us. So, every time we look up into the night sky, and see those stars shining bright, we will know she is smiling down on us.
