Elizabeth J. Manuel

Elizabeth J. Manuel, 95, passed away July 15, 2015.

Elizabeth lived in Akron for most of her life until moving to Stow to live with her grandson and family. She was a prominent member of North Hill AARP, Summit County Altrusa, and First Family's of Ohio Civil War Society.

She will be best remembered for her love of genealogy and her involvement within those groups. She spent many years collecting and sharing family information and she was very proud of the book she had printed from the information gathered from her genealogy work. She loved to travel and fearlessly travelled alone to many European countries including England, Scotland and Italy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph and daughter Susan Tarle; sister, Betty Hipp.

Elizabeth is survived by her son Ronald (Sylvia) Manuel; grandson, Mark (Sally) Manuel; granddaughters, Melissa Sweet and Tabatha Tarle; Five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be at Glendale Cemetery.
