Elizabeth M. (Mccurdy) Baird

Elizabeth M. Baird, 94, passed away January 7, 2015.

Born in Cleveland to Ralph N. McCurdy and Cathryn Lewis McCurdy, Elizabeth had lived in Tallmadge for 57 years.  She was retired from the Akron Public Library in 1995 and was a member of High Street Christian Church and Alpha IOTA.  Elizabeth loved to travel and saw the world with her family and on her own with friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer C. Baird.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Barbara Alice Davis of Rhode Island; sons, Robert Douglas (Margaret) Baird, William R. (Rebecca) Baird, and Jonathan Baird of Seattle; ten grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2 until 5 p.m. Sunday, January 11, 2015 at the Donovan Bagnoli Funeral Home, 339 Southwest Ave.

Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, January 12, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Les Sutherland officiating.

Interment will be at Hillside Memorial Park.
