Elizabeth M. Singer (Ringkor), 90, peacefully passed to be with the Lord, August 21, 2018.

Elizabeth was born and raised in Akron, Ohio (North Hill). She was a lifetime member of St. Hedwigs Church, and a member of the Polish American Club. Elizabeth devoted her life to God, her husband, and family.

Elizabeth will be remembered for her love of cooking, unique sense of humor, infectious laugh, generosity, and love of classical music. She is preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Peter Ringkor; sister, Mary Ann Ringkor; and brothers, Thomas Ringkor, and Bernard (Grace) Ringkor.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Walter J. Singer, daughters, Marianne Howald, Patricia (Steffan) Geddes; sons, Michael Singer, and Mark (Ruth) Singer; Grandchildren, Christopher (Crystal) Howald, Ben Howald, Emily (Brandon) Hughey, Allison (Brandon) Defoe, Kathleen Singer; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral Services will be at 10 am Saturday at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main) 552 N. Main St. Akron with Father Joe Warner officiating.  Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.  Friends will be received from 5 to 8 pm, Friday, August 24, 2018 at the funeral home.
