Elizabeth Sorensen

Elizabeth Sorensen, 57, passed away June 14, 2020 surrounded by family after a long and brave battle with cancer.

Born in Fremont, Michigan, Elizabeth had lived in Waukesha, WI and Kent, OH most of her life. She was employed with West Allis Hospital.

She enjoyed traveling, movies, gardening, going to the Zoo and spending time with her granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Teegardin.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, William "Bill"; children, Shannon Sorensen (Carl Peterson), Bryan Sorensen and Amanda Sorensen; granddaughter, Allison Snavely; father, Jack Teegardin; sister, Lori McCastle Thornton; and brother, Shawn (Stephanie) Teegardin;' and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the East Cemetery in Hesperia, MI.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Western Reserve or the Akron Zoo.
