Elmer Plouri, 101, passed away July 21, 2022.  He was born in Akron where he lived all of his life.  Elmer attended North High School then worked for B.F. Goodrich Tire and Rubber until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Evelyn; sisters, Theresa Plouri and Beatrice Taormina; and his brother, Ralph Plouri. Elmer is survived by his son, James Plouri; nephew, Frank Taormina and his family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am Wednesday at Blessed Trinity Church, 300 E. Tallmadge Ave. Akron. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.  Friends will be received one prior to mass at the church.
