Elsie (Elisa) Livengood

Elsie (Elisa) Livengood, (nee Suso), age 89, beloved wife of the late Paul; loving mother of Phillip, Carole (Schnee) and the late Stephen; loving grandmother of Kim Ruther and Kerri Schnee; great-grandmother of four; dear sister to the late Julian, Edward, and Celestina passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016, with her devoted son by her side.

She was born in Akron to the late Amanda and Eduardo Suso who emigrated from Spain.  She graduated from Akron University and taught elementary school in the Akron Public Schools.  She loved reading, singing, camping, fishing, swimming and playing games such as dominoes, cards and Aggravation.  She will be remembered for her infectious laugh and her warm, caring personality.  Her sweetness and love for family including her Lutheran Home caregivers will be remembered forever.

Interment will be at Mount Peace Cemetery through Hennessy Funeral Home.
