Emanueline M Locascio

October 8, 1928 — August 20, 2016

Emanueline M. "Babe" LoCascio passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, August 20, 2016.

Babe was born October 8, 1928 to Antonio and Maria Ciavarella. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phil; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Manuel and Grace, Angelo and Nancy, Al and Mary Lutz; brother, Nicholas; brothers-in-law, John LoCascio, Joe DiCeglio and Jerry Dalton.

She is survived by her sister, Caroline Dalton; brother, Anthony Ciavarella; sisters-in-law, Josephine LoCascio, Connie DiCeglio, Gloria Ciavarella; and so many cherished family members and friends.

Babe's proudest accomplishment is her family. A woman of faith, her true passion was nurturing and supporting us throughout her life. She was a loving wife and the best Mom, mother-in-law, grandma and great-grandma ever.

Phil and Babe were the beginning. Their legacy will live on for generations to come. She has asked us not to be sad but to celebrate her life. We ask that you do the same.

This is who we are; her children, Joe and Sandy of Cuyahoga Falls, Phil and Cindy of Fountain Hills, Ariz., Linda and Jerry Engler of Jackson Twp., Larry and Cathy of Longwood, Fla. and Laurie and Frank Sgro of Tallmadge. Her grandchildren, Steph and Mike Abood, Joe and Amanda LoCascio of IndianLand, S.C., Philip and Jackie LoCascio, Alison and Dan DeGeorge, paul and Karie LoCascio, Maria and Josh Haddad, Vince and Krista LoCascio of Gilbert, Ariz., Tara and Andy Kerscher, Steven and Nicole Kulesza of Cave Creek, Ariz., Lawrence, Louie and Maddie LoCascio of Longwood, Fla., Gino LoCascio and Vinnie Sgro. Her great-grandchildren, Rachel, Sarah, Mia, Scarlett, Phoebe, Cody, Logan, Tayler, Zoe, Annabelle 'Babe', Emma, Drew, Abby, Tyler, Luciana, Luke, Sammy, Allie, Lyla and Griffin and one more on the way.

We are so thankful for Mom's daily caregivers, Pat and Mary, Hospice Care of Summa and all the wonderful care she received this past year.
