Eric Paul Boasko

Eric was welcomed into heaven on New Year's Eve to celebrate with his Mom.

Eric was 46 years old.  He was born March 9, 1971.

Eric was preceded in death by his mom, Sandra Boasko; grandparents, Jack and Ramona Hall, and best friend Henry.

He is survived by his father, Lee; brother, Marc, and sister, Jamie.

Eric was loved and will be deeply missed by aunt, Debbie (Joe) Moreck; uncle, Dennis (Gina) Hall; cousins, Katie (Nick) DiMauro, Jen Moreck, and Brandy and Adam Hall.

Eric made his home at Ellsworth (Evant) in Stow for 31 years.  He graduated from Weaver School in June of 1993.  Eric participated in day programs at Weaver, UDS and Louisa Ridge.  Eric spent his final months at Summit Villa (Pinnacle) Care Center with the help of Hospice of VNS.

Eric loved music, being read to, swinging outside, relaxing in his chair, foot rubs, laying in the grass, riding his bike, holding hands, and anything chocolate!  Eric was strong, stubborn (family trait), determined and had a smile and laugh that could light up a room.

Along Eric's journey in life, the people that cared for, loved and became family to Eric are too numerous to list, for fear of leaving someone out.  You made such a difference in his life.  Eric was not defined by his disabilities, but able to enhance his abilities because of you. You kept him safe.  He accomplished so many things with your help and patience.  You are angels on Earth and I thank each of you from the bottom of my heart.

Cremation had taken place.  There will be no service at this time.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
