Evelyn Marcella (Hall) Paratore 1929 - 2014 Evelyn Marcella (Hall) Paratore, born February 12, 1929, passed from this earth peacefully Monday, August 25, 2014, with her family by her side. Her parents, siblings and sons, Vincent Steven Paratore and Martin Brian Paratore preceded Evelyn in death. Evelyn is survived by her children, Deborah Leigh Paratore of Washington, D.C., Andrea Lynn (Andrew) Borowiec of Akron, Ohio, David Michael (Catherine) Paratore of Austin, Texas, Ronald Jay Paratore of Akron, Ohio, and Patricia Ann Paratore of Herndon, Virginia. Evelyn leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grand- children, great nieces and nephews and many loved ones. Evelyn grew up in Springfield, Ohio, where she married James Paratore in 1950 and gave birth to Vincent (passed), Deborah and Andrea. In 1954 she moved with her family to Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio where she brought David, Martin (passed), Ronald and Patricia into the world. She moved to Bath, Ohio in 1960 and later worked for the Revere School System where she cared for many more children who came to love her. She retired from Midland Title in 2002. She loved to sing and was an active member of the Sweet Adeline's. Her proudest achievement was her children and she was called "mother" by many. During the last decade of her life Evelyn lived at Pleasant Point Assisted living and then Pleasant View Healthcare Center in Bar-berton, where she received tender loving care from the staff. She was a feisty gal and did not like to be told what to do, but she was also sweet and kind, often trying to comfort other residents when she could, and was loved by many of the staff. The family wishes to thank the supportive and caring staff at the Pleasant View Healthcare Center in Barberton, Ohio, especially the caring nurses and aides who assisted during her final hours. Evelyn's family will receive extended family and friends on Saturday, October 11, 2014, from 1 to 2 p.m., with a Memorial Service at 2 p.m., at Hennessy Funeral Home, 552 N. Main St., Akron, OH 44310, 330-376-3032. All are encouraged to share memories of Evelyn during the Memorial Service.
